CB Antenna Mounts

I have seen several types and locations for mounting CB antennas, including shorter ones, long whip antennas mounted on the bumper, and middle sized ones on a ball mount bolted to the body. Which have you had the most success with?

I have a 5 foot magnet mount to my rear bumber, and when in the mountains I move it on top of the left rear wheel well. I will poossibly buy a long whip and mount it to the rear bumber - In the city it will bend over to the oppisite corner of the front bumber. But I will test my current set up whenever my next trip is.
