#1 - the headlights are protected by a fusible link, not a fuse. This is generally located near the starter solenoid.

#2 - there should be a trunk popper in there (remote trunk opener) if it's a 9C1 - it might be in the glovebox, or like on my car - on the left side of the dash near the bottom of the dash.

#3 - look for a blown or missing fuse.

Since you don't have a cover and can't tell which fuse is which you have a couple of options. 1) Do you have the owners manual for the car? They usually have a diagram in the manual for the location of each fuse. If you don't have a manual you might want to consider picking one up cheaply on eBay. 2) The other option would be to pull each fuse out and look at it and replace each one that appears blown. Go and purchase a bunch of different amp fuses at places like WalMart or an auto parts store and have them ready for when you find the blown one(s). They usually sell a combo kit with a number of different amp rated fuses (10,15,20,25,etc.)

every 9c1 I have owned uses the same key to open the doors, trunk and, start the car. The key looks like an ordinary door key. You can find a haynes manual on ebay for $15+. I have been watching one on ebay and im off to buy it right now before you beat me to it. :grinyes:

$15 is on the high side. I've bought Haynes manuals (when I used to...now it's mainly Factory Service Manuals-much better info)and I don't think I've ever paid more than $5 or $6 for them. Of course you have to be patient for a price like that, but they do exist. Now those sellers selling Haynes manuals for $22 to $26 makes me wonder what they're smoking:screwy:.
