Yep, great car! Unfortunately Cadillac will only make the engine which will end up in some other car, so chances for a model kit are very slim (maybe some 1/43 french resin kit if we're lucky).

P.S. in GT-Concept, you can have a lot of fun doing the license test at Tokio 246 in the GT40 by overtaking and staying ahead of the Pace Car ! :D

Anyone who has a good engine shot of the car? I bet the U.S. magazines covered it more than the Japanese ones, I got.
Besides, how many people are interested in 1/24 scale resin of the Cien, and what price range?

Actually Cadillac's official response was that the car was not "dead" it was just being "shelved" until it became more feasible to produce it. However their version of "shelved" means that it stays around as a design study and as a technological resource.

As someone else said, the engine is going to wind up in another car, although quite de-tuned. If memory serves correctly that v12 is making upwards of 700hp, I know Cadillac showed a v12 sedan making somewhere around 400hp that IS slated for production sometime soon.
