Found pix of my old motor :(

well i found pix of the old 2.6 i had...it was in my starquest (starion/conquest) god i miss boost :( she sold dirt cheap just so i could start on a new project :(

yes that is the same turbo that self destructed at Englishtown motorspeedway in Englishtown NJ (where i used to live) picked up somthing off the track or from the engine bay running open turbo at 35psi and self destructed the t4....wasnt cheap but it was in the finals of the import nat's street class..i took 1st and won 500 (price to rebuild the turbo) ended up selling the turbo and put on a more everyday type turbo 17C series td05 ported and clipped..running 20psi

why the hell do you need such a huge ass turbo? are you trying to cover something up? and 35 psi?!???! what motor is that? shit if you built a motor that can handle 35 psi no prob. then i give you mad props :D

G54B motor 2.6 L inline 4. the the car was done for the track but still be able to drive on the street...the car handled 35PSI fine because of the marnal head (aftermarket) ported polished the whole motor was balanced and blueprinted bored out and so on...i spent nearly 9,000 on the motor over the course of a year and a half when i was working 2 jobs.....now the project is the civic but im seeing that there are alot of haters on this board that think fucking with people is funny....so on that note i think i will be leaving..im sure ill come back somtime to see whats going on and to post pix of the car when its done...so yah what ever im out

no there has been...a hellova lot of flaming going on since i said what im doing to my honda (carburation from pgm-fi) and since i havent taken pix yet because my custom hood still isnt done i get flammed...then they ask me for info on the set up...im looking at the diagram for making one right now and ya know...im not gunna post it because y should i help assholes that flame me....guess they will just have to wait and see when i get my site done....for now i will be spending most of my time online on "my own" message board that i have had for some time now..i just switched it over to my car club and race team so now those members will start posting there...i had a 4th gen message board (same site) but nobody came so i took it down....too bad too because there was no down time but what ever..im out for a while

no its not a way out i was looking through my room and found some pix of my 1st conquest and the motor...then found some of my 2nd conquest (starion) and was going to post them...but like i said (if you read the rest of this post...you will get your carb pics when i feel like it...since you feel its soo important to flame away)

Anyways, there was a nice Conquest at the junkyard I was looking at. It was a shame it was there. There was very minor body damage. But when I went back two days later, it han been picked apart pretty good. :bloated:

DarkSyde man, you probably don't know me and ppl on this board probably dont know me, but man if it makes any difference I think your car is gonna be hella unique and original man. Just think once your done, they will all be wishing they had your car. Don't let it bother you. And to those of you who were flaming and being assholes or doubting him, GO TO HELL. i used to own the grandfather of the conquest/starion, a 79 Plymouth Fire Arrow. 2.6L |4, rear wheel drive, 5 speed, hatch. the plymouth arrow ended and conquests began.

Plymouth Fire Arrow was THE original sport compact. a collaboration between Plymouth of america and mistsubishi 2.6L engine..it had some problems but would burn the tires with ease..too bad i cant find another one.

i told ya Dark Syde if you want to shut them up then show some pics. you have to know you're adding fuel to the fire. your bluff has been called on the carbs and you're dancing around it by posting pics of everything but carbs. i'm thinking why do you NEED the hood to take pics of carbs :confused: if i'm thinking that (and i honestly don't care if you do or don't...it won't change how my car runs ;) ) then i'm pretty sure that is along the lines of everyone elses thoughts.
