i have a 1999 blazer 4 door i have had trouble with the power mirrors since i have had the truck. I replaced the switch witch did not help any. I have all ways been able to move the right or the left side mirrors to the left but only to the left not up down or to the right only left. I was wondering if there is a way to check for power to the motor cause i am kind of thinking it might be the motor that moves the mirrors. Would it be easier to buy new mirror or have the ones fixed that i have?

If they are heated they may be elctrochromic.
Are they a odd silver/crome color mirror?
Ot the same color as a regular mirror?
One of the best test on power mirrows is at the switch.
Get a good wiring diagram and back pobe switch for proper operation.

do you hear the mirror motors run when you try to adjust them? sometimes the mirrors get knocked off center to one extreme or another and just need to be recenterd manualy by using your hand to push the glass back to a center positon, you will hear a clicking sound while doing it, that is normal.

it has the automatic dimming sensor for light reflecting onto the mirror. I all reay replaced the switch but it still doesnt help. So i guess i'll have to look at the wiring.

For the drivers side i can hear the motor when i move it to the right it moves the mirror. And for the passanger side if i move the mirror to the left it moves. But if i try to go to the left or up or down on the drivers side it does nothing. For the passenger side if i move it to the right or up or down nothing.
