Unsure where to put this...BC question

Well, for anyone knowledgeable about birth control, my gf switched from yasmin to yaz and has missed first month's period. Shes going to call her Dr. asap but she thinks they're closed on the weekends so I figured I would ask here. We're both a bit nervous for obvious reasons and after doing a little research online, I found about 5-6 other people in the same situation so Im figuring this is happening because of the switch to yaz.

If anyone has any ideas about what might be the cause of her missed first month's period then please let me know until we can contact her Dr. on Monday.

...I dunno the OBGYN population on AF has dwindled down to almost nothing

Wifey says : "Could be due to switching birth control pills, that her cycle is not regular yet. However it obviously could be she is prego so to be safe go buy a birth control test. If thats negative its common to not be regular when switching birth control pills."

You telling me she doesn't have a health insurance with a 24hr help line available for questions like this and there are no 24 hour pharmacies or clinics in your area to call and ask?
