For Hardcore Fans

My best friend, David Durfee, is a simple guy. Knowing him for so long, I can see that his strongest aspiration is to be just like his older brother, Bobby. His brother used to be a singer for some scrub NY HxC band called 4 in the Chamber. Bobby has left and joined a band called Only Hell Remains. (Bobby is in the center of the picture above) Recently, the band went to Chicago to record with Charlie Bennent of Anthrax, who will be producing their new album. They also go to chill with Phil Anselmo and the rest of Down. Coming back home, Dufee has told me to come support his brother as he opens for Bury Your Dead, one of his favorite bands ever. I am simply relaying a fraction of this kid's sheer excitement, to have his older brother that he looks up to so much open for his favorite band ever! fan of hardcore or not, thats amazing. So me, a metalhead who really doesn't like hardcore, is goin' this sunday to see Bury Your Dead and Only Hell Remains, and you should too! check em out if you can! (PS, their myspace songs still feature old recordings with Only Hell Remains' old singer, who sucked.)

Like i said, not a fan of hardcore. infact i hate it. i think hardcore dancers are the goofiest pieces of shit ever. the music is so talentless, and the breakdowns are fucken annoying. Also i broke my thumb punching some faggot in the face cuz he thought its a good idea to flail his fucken arms around like a little human helicopter. oh, and the wall of death? gayest thing ever.

my friend was also being a moron and didn't realize that me and another friend came to support his brother, not because we might enjoy the music, and he fucken gets mad when we say we hate the music and the scene, but whatever.

Hardcore "dancing" is so retarded. And the music, completely talentless. I have heard some decent breakdowns at first, then they all seem to sound the same. Same drop tuning, some harmonic bends here and there, one finger power chords...UHG fuck..learn how to play a damn guitar..seriously! Thats cool about your friend though. But the only band I would consider listening to in that "genre" is Beneath The Sky. I went to an "All Hell Breaks Loose" show.....fucking dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life. Oh well, Ide go to a metal show over that shit anyday!
