Ok here we go again. Another misfire on my 96 4x4 gmc jimmy. Same damned cylinder as well, number 3.
Last time this happened was in april the car had 160,220 miles on it and they replaced the ignition coil, the wires and installed 6 ac delco spark plugs. Now here I am 6 months later and 4,000 more miles on the car with the same damn problem.
The car started sputtering right after I filled her up with 87 octane fuel from a shell station. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. The fuel filter was replaced sometime last year, around 145,000 miles.
Please help!

if you're sure that the problem was not present before getting gas here.. the i would suspect bad gas... do you still have gas in the tank from when you filled up at shell ? if so, i would maybe try adding a thing of drygas.. maybe you got water along with gas

It absorbs the water that may be present in the gasoline. It just adds to your gas tank. It's worth a shot
