Geronimo Works start production

Hi everybody,

I'd like to inform you i'm going to produce transkits and wheel sets for cars and bikes. Hopefully i can start prodction in a few weeks and products will be availble in the beginning of november.
They will be available at hiroboy.com, mediamixhobby.com and in Brasil from my friend Cris Jr. soon.

Production is started. It goes slowly as i make the wheels after my work. I still miss the decals, but i hope that in one week that they will be in my hand also.
So i assume that from next week onwards i will be able to process orders :)

What sort of hub will they come with? Tamiya style (pin), Fujimi/Aoshima style (cylinder), or something completely different? I'm pretty interested in the GW-05 and 06!

I hope your wheel business is a real success!! Now if only I can persuade you to make these 20" Ferrari wheels in 1/24th scale :grinyes: They would look so good on my Fujimi 599!

They will come with aoshima cylinder.
Except the Focus wheel.

Also what I would like to see are wheels offered in 17;18;19 and 20 inch sizes along with the tires to fit them. I like modern muscle rods/street machines and find it difficult to find different size wheels. And I know Pegasus/Aoshima etc....make some but, the Pegasus wheels are old news.

Finally some nice wheels with dishes! The first casts look amazing. I going to get a few hopefully, how much are they going to start at?

Could you make some wheel sets many of us have always wanted, such as the 599's BBS wheels, the 5 spoke wheels for the BMW Z3, and maybe some of the modern AMG rims?

I see I'm gonna have to increase my modelling budget for the upcoming year! :sunglasse

Yes, it's just some lame excuse I tell to myself that doesn't work; it goes like this: "I'm only gonna spend *blank* amount of money this year because I'm not buying anymore kits and wheels except for *blank*" but in reality it's a bunch of :bs: :lol:

I got my samples today and I was very very impressed, i'll take some pics over the weekend and post, these are truly the best resin wheels I have seen in the aftermarket section :)

There are some threads in WIP which show the wheels. But once the battery in my camera is charged up i will make some photos from the wheels without car.

A bit off topic, but would you be planning to make any mitsubishi Evo TME 17" wheels? I know I am asking quite a far-fetched question but seems like you are one of the few here who can overtake such a wheel scratchbuild task with outstanding results.

Ferrari Enzo wheels are 19's. The 599 GTB Challenge wheels are 20's.

Please tell me you are not making the 599 Challenge wheels as 19's. That would be the cruelest thing possible to do to modelers who have been waiting so long for proper 20" Challenge wheels.

you are right, the Enzo wheels are 19". However, using the Enzo tires does not mean they'll only go on a 22mm wheel. I guess those 599 wheels will be a bit larger. I tried with another set of wheels I have at home, with a bit of stretching they fit just fine on a 23mm wheel. Let's wait and see what will happen...

Yes, Enzo kit tires will stretch. I couldn't fathom someone making 599 Challenge wheels without making them the proper 20" diameter. Let's hope they're 20's, as 19's would be a tragic compromise.

someone should make the C6R wheels for the vettes. The ones from SMS are way to expensive. I bet they would sell very well.

:iagree: They might be hard to cast since they have so many spokes, maybe the bbs ones might be easier.

I have the semi-masters but i'm so busy with the Mirage GT transkit that i dont have time to work on the new wheels. Hope i can find some help in casting and then i will have more time for developing new things.
