VERY OFF TOPIC: 300, a racist film?

I was truely offended by this film
i am a persian, and they showed my king, xerex as a homo sexual, who wore makeup.
This is soo in-accurate, first of all, persians werent black, specialy not xerex and no he was never homo.
Second of all, the movie shows black and deformed people(persians) as the bad guys. i think its extremly stereotypical they did this because PERSIAN WERENT BLACK!!!!
and the part with the spartan kicking the BLACK persian messenger into the whole and howling like an animal "THIS IS SPARTA!!!!" this is stupid because back then, you werent suppose to kill messengers, anyone who did was considered barbaric, as in this movie it is considered cool?????
This movie realy makes the persian's self image low as we were one of the greatest ever empires and never allowed slave labour or manVSman or manVSanimal cruel entertaintments(in fact we were the only empire in the world who was like this(FACT)).
this is a movie and is considered fictional however it dosent emphasize that fact so people realy do blieve now that persians were deformed, wore makeup, were black, were home sexuals and were evil!
The spartans were barbaric, not heroes, and it wasent just the spartans who killed so many persians, there were other groups too.
I am truely offended by this film though i enjoy the drama and action.
another rascist comment the say in this film is "pile up all these dead persians", this is as same as saying pile up those dead jews"

Iran's goverment banned this film in iran and many iranians protested outside of theaters in europe.
this movie to us is an outrage!!

I can see your point but bare this in mind.

#1 The movie was not an accurate depiction of what actually happened. I'm not a historian nor was I actually there so I can't vouch.

#2 It has been proven throughout history that written history was, yes, written by men and all thier imperfections. Furthermore, unless you were actually there to prove otherwise, all you know is what, yet again, men have written. Therefore you don't know shit.

#3 Get a grip and post your racist blubbering somewhere else. This is an AUTOMOTIVE forum site not a blah blah blah me me me shed a tear for my whiny ass because someone made a FICTIONAL movie about something that may have happened a thousand or so years ago site. If you've got hang-ups with your own race or religion, go deal with them somewhere else. Putz:lol:
