1300 bucks. Primed and ready for paint, already has tint/cd player
I'm thinking about getting it, driving it until i find a 350 engine then just swap it.
Good idea? it also needs one new tire and the back windows don't roll down. Lol

$1,300.00 for a 16 year old Caprice that needs paint, has nearly 200K, has disfunctional power windows, and has obviously been beat on.... If it were me, I'd stay away.

After seeing 94-96 its HARD to find them for the price i want to pay out here.

Would i be lucky to find a 94-96 9c1 for 2500? with less then 130kmiles so on so on...

How much do you think it would cost to change that middle console, the divider, and back seats? and remove the spotlights and get holes filled?

all 3 are different, hence why i have 3.

After seeing people say such good things about the 94-96 it's hard for me to want any other.

I'm not worried about the cost of the paint. I am more worried about speed/feel of the vehicle.
So now i might be stuck waiting till december to get me a 94+ caprice 9c1 with digital dash, thats how i like it

That one you showed on CraigsList doesnt seem like a bad deal at all... seats would be anywhere from $50 to $150 each from a yard and to have just the pillars redone to fill the holes should only be a couple hundred dollars tops. They're have to fade the paint in the pillars up to the roof so it wouldn't be noticeable, but it shouldn't be all that much. It's low mileage for it's age and already has fresh paint. That may be your calling right there. A nice 9C1 that you can easily and more cost effectivly modify if you wanted to.

What about the divider? the big plastic thing in the middle of the fron seats stopping the people in the back from touching the cops.

I dont think you will have a problem getting it out. I see tiny pinholes in my roof and floorboard (where the divider should be) so, it cant be that hard to get them out. I agree that this is a nice car. I think that if you wanted to paint the whole car it would be better. Im in Oklahoma City and I have checked out one of the paint shops that paint for $249. I even asked about them, one of the best paint jobs you can get. I am coming back to get it painted asap!

Also, I never see myself paying $1300 for a plain factory paint job. I can get Candy paint for that price... also one of the best in town.
