Heater/AC problems

Ok, hopefully someone can help me. About a year ago my heater/ac would only work on 5, no other speeds. I replaced the blower motor resistor and everything worked fine until about 2 months ago. Now sometimes it works on all speeds, sometimes it doesn't work on any. It may work for a week and then not work for 2 weeks. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be the bmr again? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance..

Welcome to AF.
What brand BMR did you use. GM/AC Delco or aftermarket? Could be the BMR or possibly a problem with the 12 volts to the climate control head unit, the head unit itself or back to the ignition switch.
Is this the only symptom you have? No other accessories or lighting acting up?

I used an aftermarket one that I got from Autozone. No I am not having any other problems with lights or anything else. Just the heater/ac not blowing. If you turn it off and back on you can hear it click but nothing happens.

Most likely the Wells brand. I recall members having problems with it. Recommended to use the GM/AC Delco version. Just to be sure have you bench tested the blower motor to include wiring/connector plug? Troubleshooting a BMR and the output of the climate control unit is difficult but can be done so you could do that just to be sure using a DMM.
Since you have no other symptoms the problem appears to be isolated to the HVAC system. If you had other issues then the ignition switch and harness could be the cause.
