I think it looks good so far! I hope you are going to put some sort of big block under the hood. Your model has a lot of potential!

The jeep looks awesome so far. I have the same kit and i plan to do the same, i am going to attempt a working suspension that will "flex" like the real deal.
I really like the color of the body

Thanks for your comments. . .
This is a Jeep J-10 pickup, also known as Honcho.
I scracthbuilt the leaf springs, hangers and shackles. Plan on using the engine from the AMT IH Scout, mated to a transfer case from the Mad Mudder Kit. I changed the tires from 44's to 49's yesterday and it looks better to me. ..
Paint is Duplicolor Orange Mist spray and clear. I have a lot of work left on the undercarriage but don't have much free time, so. . . I'll try to post some more pics later tonight. . .

This is great! I am loving the fact that there are a few Jeep builds going. Like you I am scratch building my suspension as well. I did a coiled one though and it is tough. I love the paint on this, great choice.
Will it articulate?!?!?!? :naughty:

Great job on the jeep. What did you use for the canvas top?

Well, it's Aluminum Foil covered with 2 layers of 2" wide masking tape(1 on each side of the foil). The frame is made from styrene angles and strips. . . :grinyes:
