switching parts from turbo to non turbo engines

I have a 1987 300zx non turbo that I am rebuilding. I also have parts from a 1986 turbo 300zx engine. I heard that switching the intake from a turbo moter with a non turbo would increase fuel intake and horsepower. Is this true? If it is, are there other parts from a turbo motor that can be switched?
