How about out of these 3? They are all DVC 2 which means if I use just one it can be wired down to one ohm?

I am afraid this may sound like a dumb question but how do you figure that?
Also I was looking at a Cerwin Vega Stroker
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=18498
How would this compare?

i never heard a cerwin vega. the reason why i know is research. the btl where made for spl comps. the soundsplinter where made for a loud low bass. and i also never heard orion hence why i said no comment i on it. but look on roe or ssa.

Orion is an old school company, cerwin vega is in a lot of club systems, the stroker is like 15 years old.

you want to run 1 ohm to get the most out of your amp, you can do this a number of ways but the easiest are to use 2 dual 4 ohm voice coil subs or 2 2 ohm single voice coil subs. as to the sound you want depends on what you listen to. your amp and enclosure are actually alot more important than the subs. my old audiobahn se 12's (yes they are junk, but basically free junk) in a custom bandpass hit as hard for rap as my buddies $15000.00 system (boy was he pissed). but i did it solely to prove a point to him, and the speakers came with an orion amp i wanted for my doors n rear deck. before buyin anything sit down and figure out what you listen to how you want it to sound, and go from there. and be sure to check out diamond audio, thats what i run now, and lamb of god moves the roof of my jimmy about about an inch with the glass open

I used to have a stroker, but sold it when I wrecked my old explorer. It sounded great. Absolutely amazing for the money.

This is what I have now. I would say this has to beat the stroker (and that orion sub you were looking at.) A very clean, low bass. I wouldn't get rid of mine for anything. Very high quality also, and good customer service. It should do nicely.
However, if (2) audiobahn SE's
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/ele/458420011.html
Can beat a $15,000 system

(hitting over 170db) *Cough*
Than I would just go with 2 Se's
