Getting Rid of my resonator on my 1997 GTP, wondering what size the stock diameter tubing is. 2.5" or 2"? Has anybody replaced their resonator with a muffler? Thinking about replacing resonator with a round or oval Borla muffler and deleting both stock mufflers. Anybody done this?

The stock diameter is 2.25". I have my resonator deleted but keep the stock mufflers. But the plumbing is custom 2.5" from the output of the CAT convertor to the mufflers.
