i've been thinking, and this is a list that i have concluded for my '95 Civic Hatchback:

Ok this is all i have come up with so far, so please could you read though and tell me whether or not this stuff would be any good? and if not, what i should buy.

is it true that if i put the h22 engine in, then all parts that i buy related to the engine must be prelude, not civic parts?

First off, you want a turbo? Then why are you buying headers, they cannot go together.

And yes, to answer your question, H22's only came in Preludes, therefore any engine parts you buy must be Prelude engine components.

So,

i have decided that i will go for the H22 engine swap.

i now need to find a place that will do this engine swap.

i live in the UK, but i am planning on coming over to the US, buying a civic (if its cheap enough), and getting the major mods that i can't do in the UK done in the US.

1) could someone give me a quote of a 95 Civic Hatchback, with no mods.

2) could someone please tell me of the best places in the US for getting an h22 motor swap done, and getting a turbo installed.

3) is it worth getting the h22 type-S, over the h22a?

Why go all the way to the States to get a Honda and hybrid it,you can get it done in Europe for less.I know I guy will sell you a 94 hatch for around 1500 and can get you a h22 for 2000.

When I said europe I was talking about Germany,netherlands that is the area I am familiar with,but it is a lot closer than tha U.S.
Klaus Riess in Marktredwitz,Germany 49 (0)171 372 3715 this guy is really good dude,I got complete swap,front brake upgrades,rear disc conversion,radiator,type R shift linkage,tower strut bar,struts and springs,and anti-sway bars all for 2000.He maintains a Honda only stripyard and has thousands of parts,I counted around 13 bseries alone it is heaven.Oh yea he doesn't speak english so I you call him have a translator(German)

Also you can go to the forums selection page scroll down to the regions and select europe the first thread is european shops and there is a whole list of shops and what not in the U.K.

Can your source find more EG Hatches at this price? I'm looking for one in the not-too-distant future, to compliment my Lude.

Slick your location is listed as Mississippi,I doubt that you would benefit by getting a eg from Germany.But yes he gets cars all the time.
