Oh man. Don't you hate it when your car stalls? I was stupid enough to let my friend drive my car without any knowledge of how to drive a stick. Well, on to the bad part. They constantly stalled the car HARD. I mean, the car was shaking, moving back and forth, and it was the most unpleasant thing to feel inside your own car. Would there be any damage to the transmission or any engine problems? I'm so stupid for letting them drive. :shakehead What i'm basically trying to say is that, is there anything messed up with my car now?

Well...take this lesson in stride. There are a few things that take a hit when you drive a manual improperly. One: The main thing that goes awry when you let a dumbass drive a stick is that they will smoke your clutch. If you have a stock clutch, and they smoked it out hard, then they possibly glazed the clutch plate over (much like you can glaze brake pads if you abuse them badly). Chances are that it will drive like shit and slip a lot until you wear off the glaze (if you notice the car continues to drive like ass then it looks like you friend cost you a clutch...not fun). Two: Motor mounts take a lot of abuse when you drop your clutch and let it pop back and forth in 1st gear. More likely than not this will do no damage at all to the car. However, if your mounts were on the verge of going then this probably pushed them over the edge. 3: If they grind gears hard it's obviously bad on your tranny gears and synchros. It would take a lot to break these things, but I guess anything is possible at the hands of an idiot driver. 4: CV and U joints could be strained.

99.99% sure they did nothing to hurt your car...but the above are some things (I'm sure not all, just what I can think of right now) that have a possibility of breaking.
