He there all you Skyline fanatics, I recently saw Top Gear on BBC2 (i think) were they had some Skylines in the test.
But I was curious to know how do you get the Skylines into the UK??
Do you import them straight out of Japan???
If so how much are the costs to do that.

Cause I always thought that Skylines were a Japanese/USA only car
until I saw that episode of Top Gear :)
And just 2 days ago I downloaded a mpeg file of Max.Power.Hardcore.Tarmac.Terrorists
where they had some clips from the UK street racing scene with Skylines
So that made me curious

There was 80 R34 GT-R's officially imported into the UK from V-Spec onwards. They has some minor differences to the Japanese cars, such as leather Conolly seats and the later version of the MFD.

They are many private imports into the UK of all types of GT-R, somewhere in the region of 300 i think. The costs of the private imports are the car itself, and the shipping.

The GT-R was never imported to the US, they are all private imports dopne through Motorex. They have a very high price because Motorex does alot of work to them to make them pass the US's strict regulations.

Are there any specs the GTR must pass to be accepted on European roads?
