need help my car smells like gas and oil when i drive it also the idle is really low... i was just wondering why? runaround oh yeah its a 91 fc3s

OK. That's not much info, but let's start with the basics--
First, I'd check all fluid levels under the hood. Look for anything out of place (i.e. water in the oil)
Next, I'd check for a fuel leak-- start the car, and sniff under the hood. look for any drips or sprays around the fuel system.
Then, I'd do a compression test, and while the spark plugs were out, I'd look at their condition
I would also crawl under the car and look for any signs of leaks and check the vaccum system for any leaks or cracked hoses
Pls also fill us in with mileage on the engine and whether or not it's a turbo.

well its non turbo and it got about 1830000 miles on it... so how do you do a compression test?

PLEASE tell me that is NOT 1,830,000 miles! I think you mean 183,000.
Have you checked or replaced your seals recently? any signs that maybe it's just running too rich (might be why you're smelling gas)?
Probably going to need to go to a decent shop for the compression test.
