89 Civic dual-point FI to mpi

i am helping a frend build this dirt track car that he bought torn apart it has a 1.5 block and a mpi 1.6 head do not no year of head just no its singel cam non vtec and he has the si comp with the dual-point harness i have read how to do the wiring but i cant find the blue with green stripe wire or the blue with yellow stripe wire from the dist the car runs as s but bad no power and just back fires and misses when you give it gas it will idel fine please help race is friday also do you run the 1.5 timeing belt or the 1.6 belt

search.... then, when you're done searching, search some more...all those questions have been covered at least once in the last six months.

Well if you are sure they are not there, try taking the dizzy apart and finding them, if they were cut off somehow then they are in there somehow. You are talking about the single plug with two wires? or two wires in the larger plug.

You sure its the 1.6 distributor? Or did the 1.5 distributor find its way back on it?

When I said search, I meant that lil search bar at the top of your screen... not visually.

make sure you have the right dizz (1.6L). you might even wanna try a mpfi ecu, & search a bit more.

there is no blue with green stripe wire or the blue with yellow stripe wire that i can find does any one have picks of old dist and the mpi one

where should the wires come out of the dist at

being that old, there's a good chance that neither wire has it's stripe color on it... search for the pinout diagram, that will show you exactly what wires you need to depin for the MPFI swap.

And that's about all the help you're going to get until you search.
