i have a 94 honda passport(3.2 automatic 4x4).truck has about 140.000 miles and has been pretty reliable.until the last couple of weeks.transmission had begun to slip a few months ago.so i knew it was time to have it rebuilt.car now shifts fine but since i got it back its seems to be very sluggish.it idles fine.but once in gear.if i don't go very easy on the gas pedal it starts to run rough and stalls.it will usually start right back up but its the same thing.i have run a scan but the only code that has comes up is 13 02 sensor.i don't think this would cause such a severe problem.truck is barely drivable now and i hate think i just threw away all that money on a tranny.any help would be appreciated.

What's the recent maintenance history on the whole truck; i.e spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve, O2 sensors, etc.

Bad O2 can cause truck to run REALLY bad, mine ran horrible when mine were failing, but it was a combination of issues, i.e. needed new spark plugs too.

Also, what's your volt gauge reading while truck's at normal drive speed, with the headlights OFF?

thanks for the quick get back.truck has been maintained fairly well.plugs,oil,wires,pcv,filters,etc,02 sensor was replaced last year after doing the starter(a nightmare!).but it may have been damaged when they replaced the tranny.as far as voltage goes i would say im right around 13.2to 13.5.anyway im going to replace the fuel filter,02 sensor, and the tps,and see if there maybe a vacum leak im missing.any other ideas are more than welcome.
