Picky Clutch

Just picked up a nice 93 and the only thing im questioning is its pretty tight geeting it to go down to 3rd and 2nd gears. Going up through all five is very smooth. Is there possibly an adjustment that I need to make to some linkage?

I also have this same problem. its like my rpms have to be just right or it wont go in at all.
any help would be great.
