Get a Mustang GT.
A stock 4.0 Wrangler goes fast enough to not be safe. Its a short wheelbase sport utility with a high center of gravity, terrible aerodynamics and brakes, suspension and steering that are definately not designed for high speeds.
Of course I dont expect you will listen to this advice, but you asked, so there it is.

HA! I am amazed that not everybody on here wants to better your Jeep. (Message me to flame because I may not check this again) There is so much you could do. If you want to keep the 4whl drive with a v8 conversion, it will be tough... Everything in the driveline could be a problem, but the manual will be the cheapest option... not the best for off-roading though. I have also heard of a super charged V10 from a Viper! Very Custom... But the sky is the limit.... well, or the check book. lol I have specifics if u want to better the 4.0L Message me

Wranglers are ment to crawl. I enjoy speed, but a wrangler is no speed demon. Unless you want to make it into some kind of project "car".
There I would say: Hope you have a weilder and a lot of money
