Need some help with alternator ..

Hey I was wondering if there is any easier way to take off the alternator besides pulling the exhaust Y-pipe off on the 95 mystique V6? I allready have half-shaft out of the way.

Or is there a easier way to do this with everything on? I don't understand why ford made the alternator on the v6 such a pain in the ass to change...WTF !!
