Hi All,
If someone knows the answer this question, I would greatly appreciate any input that you might have.
I have a 2002 Jetta and the dealer as told me that the front O2 sensor is bad. I would like to change the sensor myself... I have changed them on other vehicles. Is there any reason that I cant change it on the Jetta?
Also, the car has to engine codes (BDF & AFP) and was told I can view it on the engine next to the motor mount. I looked for the code and am unable to find it.
So
1) Is there any reason I cant change the O2 sensor?
2) What is the easiest way to detemine the Engine code?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Quick

Sensor is very easy to replace.
BDF= 24v engine (6 coil packs)
AFP= 12v engine (red plug wires)
