I just got a 95 talon parts car from a kid in town(timing belt)
I wont lie t you guys im still new into the world of DSM modding even though i have driven them for a couple of years now...
My question is what is the stock turbo like in this 95? Worse? Same? better? Wouldn't fit?
thanks

What are we comparing it to?? The stock turbo in your 95 is a T-25. Its a very small POS turbo.

I have planned on getting a bit beefier turbo once I can get back to work during the summer, but I was just wondering for the time being...

Nope that turbo would be a big downgrade, not to mention the new oil lines etc that you would need to make it work. I hope you didnt pay much for that car, not very much of it is going to be compatible with your 93.

Free...more convenient for him to give it to me then tow it to a junk yard and get paid about 120

Well the 2g exhaust manifold flows better than yours. So you could change that stocker out with your own. Even better if you get it ported first.
Other than that I would just part it out, since you got it for free you may be able to get something for nothing. Or if you take the head off and take a look. Maybe you can get away with just replacing a few parts and you could have a running 95 DSM.

Check if its an EPROM though, non EPROMS arent worth much. Still though, you could srap together a couple hundred bucks for all the stuff you got with it or if the body is nice I would fix it, sell the 93, and drive the 95.
