CRX wheels and brakes

I have an 88 CRX Si which has recently gotten a B16A swap. I'm planning to upgrade the stock wheels and tires in the spring. At this point I'm considering 15" Kosei K1's with either 195/50's or 205/50's.

The plan was to keep the stock alloys and run 185/60/14's as a winter setup. I'm definitely going to want to upgrade the brakes from drums to calipers in the rear, and larger rotors all the way around.

Can anyone recommend a good brake upgrade? I was planning on getting rear axles from either an Integra or a later model CRX. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket upgrade to change to discs in the rear? Also, what about rotor size? Obviously the rotors are going to have to fit in my winter wheels. Can I get reasonably potent aftermarket brakes that will fit in the stock wheels - or should I be thinking in terms of a set of 15" steelies for winter? I would rather run 60 series tires in the winter, because I think they will bite better in the snow and provide more impact resistance at potholes.

Thanks a lot for any advice.

if you have $$, get a Willwood or Fastbrakes kit for the front, i think wilwood makes a kit that will be able to fit under 15" rims, not sure about fastbrakes, and for the rear, just get the parts off a 90-91 CRX Si because they came with Rear Disc, and you can keep is stock in the rear, but a major upgrade is deffinatly gonna be STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE LINES!!! THey help a LOT!

I know you can get 280mm disks/rotors inside a 15” as a mate has a set of 4pot big break conversion. Even larger rotors under 15”…..
