Hello,
I have a problem with my 02 LTZ TB, The memory seat function will not work. When you press 1 or 2, nothing happens. The power seats still work fine and the heated seats do not work now either. Are these problems related (same fuse). Has anyone else had this problem? Going to check the fuses today. Is there only 1 fuse for the heated seats? #8 under the driver side back seat sound right? Or is there another? I am really not concerned with the memory seats but I need my heated seats to operate! Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
B

There is a bulletin out on this. Your memory/heated seat module needs to be replaced due to a lock-up within the computer logic. Since you have memory AND heated seats, you also replace the one under the passenger seat. I would bring your car to the dealer, or just give them this part number: 15206270. You need a quantity of 2. You may just want the dealer to do it if you are not experienced with these types of things.

Remove the clip from the front outboard seat pan stud. Discard the clip.
Lift the seat pan up in order to allow access to the seat control module retaining screw.

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the seat control module as necessary.

They will probably charge for about an hour worth of labor (not including diagnostic time) plus parts cost. I am not sure how much the modules are. My dealer charges 120.00/hr, I don't know what yours charges. Overall, you are looking to spend around a couple hundred, unless you have an extended warranty.
