Programming key fob

OK, This has been so much fun. Changed the battery in the remote and tried to reprogram it. Any idea how to reprogam the remote? The owners manual was no help!

I don't know what year you have, but here's what I know about Gen. II Foresters. It's a combination of closing/opening the driver door and hitting key fob buttons will program it. That's what I saw the dealership doing. There's a special sequence.
