First Pic of FC3S Savanna RX-7

Here's the first and pic of the (still not complete) Savanna RX7. I used Testors paint so its not as good looking as it would with Tamiya Paints. Anymore ill wait the extra 3 days to order some tamiya. But never the less i think it looks pretty good so far. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to polish testors paint? I was thinking just Furniture polish. Compliments wanted. Its my first model in a while. Enjoy!

Looks good, but it looks like your front wheels have a camber problem.

Thanks... The series is called "Drift Kings" so it calls for "Drift Like" camber

Looks really nice! Is it the Initial D version kit? I have that one in the works right now, but am yet to decide how to do it. The first coat of metallic red screwed up so I have to sand it down or paint it a dark colour. I think I might go for gunmetal grey, like I am doing with my Tarago.

No its not the Initial D. Its called "Drift King" series and theres a bunch of other cars in the series

Oh ok, I see now. Does that series come with a whole bunch of spare parts or accesories? The Initial D one I have came with LHD & RHD dashboards, 3 steering wheels, 3 types of seats, 4 seater or 2 seater style interior buckets, 2-3 different types of mufflers, different hatches, 3 types of bodykit & 3 different types of lights. I was pretty happy with that, now I got a whole line up to choose from....hmm....4 exhaust pipes huh? :D

Good job, is that an old kit, I'm asking because I think it looks nice and I want to build it, I hope my local hobby shop has it.

Initial D FD3S represents the later FD with some optional parts. The FD kit has been recycled and sold as a modified reissue many times, so there are many custom parts available. Since it's too costly to tool a new mold, they just put those existing parts in the ID FD3S.
It's a common practice of Fujimi, and not all Initial D kits have extra, but some other, such as Fairlady Z432-R has some extra parts.

a few of mine were like that too. my Initial D S13 came with some extra parts from a 180SX, and racing seats, and a HUGE tuner decal sheet, but that's about it. from the sounds of it, some of the others (most likely the ones reissued the most) have more parts. my S14 Veilside came with the Nismo body kit as well as 3 wings and some other extra parts as well, including headlights for a Kouki (late) S14 that had no chance of fitting onto my Zenki (early) S14.
