automatic 240sx

i found an auto 240 for like 500 bucks i think its either a blown head gasket or a cracked head cause its blowin antifreeze out the exhaust would it be worth rebuilding and swaping a standered

yeah dude sure, if u know what ur r doing...

get a KA24DE or E for $500 max from a junk yard and a 5 speed tranny $200 and clutch pedal, slave cylinder, new clutch, new tranny and engine mounts and ur good 2 go.

Or you could keep the auto trans and brag about it when you beat someone.

except for the fact that the auto tranny's on the 240's wear out faster than my socks.

IF you know what your doing it would be easily worth it, but the auto to manual conversion is pretty difficult usually.
