Blower fan stays on!

I just picked up a 1993 Regency Elite, and when I shut it off, the blower fan stays on, and my battery is now dead. Any ideas what it could be, and what is the part worth to fix it? The car was given to us, as we needed a vehicle and are pretty broke. I hope I can fix this myself, or that the cost is minimal.
