1997 C1500 low fuel indicator light?

I recently purchased this truck and was wondering if it has a low fuel indicator. Because I've had it pretty low a couple of times and no light has come on. Thanks

No these trucks do not have one. Atleast my '98 didn't have one. That's a dummy light anyway. You should never let your gas tank get below an 1/8th of a tank. You can burn your fuel pump up by running it low all the time.

Wow, learn something new everyday. I wasn't aware of that. I was running it low the first few fillups just to get an idea of what my mpg was. Thanks for the info.

That is correct that year does not have one. It should have been standard years before that though.
