Sounds like you may have a bare wire coming into contact with metal.
Look at and feel the full length of all the wire looms on both sides of the engine. Look for any wires that may be burnt due to coming into contact with the exhaust manifold or the engine block.

thanks for the reply, I believe it is a w code CPI inj?? I will have to check on which fuse but I do know its a 20 amp. what diff will it make if it is either one?? do they go to diff places??

Yes they are seperate circuits and seperate fuse.
To know where to look for the short we need to know which fuse.

Thank you guys for all your help, the problem was under the right side dash below the plastic panel where the main harness goes into the engine compt through the rubber grommett, on the engine bay side. the bundle of wires was rubbing a head bolt and was grounding against it. Thats why I couldnt figure why when I made a left turn and torqued the engine the fuse blew but not any other time, it also appears that a weak drivers side engine mount and the harness too close to the engine were also contributing factors, again thank you guys so much, this place is a great site. I hope this may help others in the future.
