Just got a dehydrator from walmart, cut out some of the trays and fits alot of pieces have been working on Tamiya Audi Quattro (pics and WIP thread coming tomarrow) over the past week sanded, primered and painted TS metallic Red, was wondering with use of the dehydrator how long should I let it dry before spraying clear coat?

I sure did try it - that's strange because I checked the link in preview mode before I posted :screwy:

Here's the same search pattern again: here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/search.php?searchid=2020080)

Looks like it.

That's really weird because of course I double checked in preview mode AND checked the link after I posted and it worked but now it doesn't :screwy: :screwy: :runaround:

Any way the search words were "dehydrator drying time" :D

Jsut for the heck of it, let's try a 3rd time... here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/search.php?searchid=2020146)

(it's working in preview mode)

(it's working after posting)

Depends on the heat and the paint.

I stayed up late last night, painted a model in Testors enamel, done minutes before F1 race started (2am).

This morning at 10am it was wetsanded and polished.

The black window trim is now done, it's noon.

10 hours...ready for assembly. The enamel is still a tad soft, but it's dry enough. 8 hours in the dehydrator is approx. equivalent to 32 hours w/out.

PM a mod and ask to see if its a server bug. I don't think its your problem at all.

I think searches are session-specific, and they expire to boot.

You're stuck just linking to threads, unless you want to dig up search-string URL syntax, but I don't know if it exists.
