Spoiler on my SE

I really like how the spoilers look on the new GA's and the GT's and I want to add one to my '99 SE if that's possible. I've been looking a little bit but if I do find just the spoiler that I want, how compatible would it be with mounting points on my car? I figure I'd just have to drill 4 holes from inside the trunk and ideally it would mount without having to fab too much up.
Anyone ever done this or know what I'd be getting in to?
Thanks
Just found this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00-01-02-03-04-05-Grand-Am-Black-Spoiler-OEM-LKQ_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33638QQihZ009QQitem Z190160450286QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW) on Ebay. This is what I'd potentially be mounting and it is already painted so that would save me even more hassle. Can I get this to work?

Sure! Any wing will work.
I guess you are saying your 99 doesnt have a wing now ?
The trunks are a little different , winged vs unwinged, but should still work.
Once you find the center of your trunk lid,
and the wing you want to install you'll just need to drill some holes, and tighten it up.
Probly want to clean up the holes, then apply some silicone to prevent leaks.

Ok I wasn't sure about how the mounting procedure went. I wasn't sure if you had to mount it to the metal frame inside the trunk lid or whatever. So it just tightens down to the most outside layer of the trunk? I'll probably have to take the trunk lid off to drill the holes right?
Also, what kind of silicone are you talking about? Like something that comes in a tube? Would I put that on there after it's all cleaned up and fully mounted? I would think that would leave a bit of a mess where the wing meets the trunk lid if I'm seeing this the right way.

You might end up drilling through the two layers of the trunk lid but its not big deal. You can leave the trunk on the car not neccessary to remove it.
On the silicone any clear stuff in the tube will work.
From the factory they use a black foam gasket that goes inbetween the wing mounts and trunk. From that pic it is missing one side of this gasket, thats why I suggested the silicone.
Once the holes are drilled and you file/sand off the burrs just apply a small bead of silicone around the bolt holes then mount it up while its still wet. This should prevent any water from leaking into the trunk lid and rusting it out.
Both my 99 GA's have leaked before with the factory foam piece, so I just applied some silicone and I havent had any more leaking.
Hope that helps!!

Ok sounds good. I'm going to order it tomorrow. I only have 2 questions left :-)
1. Does it matter if I drill from the inside or outside of the trunk lid?
2. How can I make sure the wires going through lid aren't in the way while I drill the hole? (I would have to go through two layers.) The only wires should be the one for the tail light right? I thought I saw more than one when I looked around in there though.
Thanks a bunch,
Aaron
