Yes I have a 1995 Buick lesabre and it runs great,But some times it will just die.I drove it 175 miles two days ago with no problems. But just last night I was taking a drive and it just died.It died about 15 times in a 45 mile trip.A couple of times it started right back up,But the rest I had to wait about two or three minutes before it would start back up.It has been doing this for about the last month.:frown: I checked it for fire and it has none when it wont start up.But give a couple of minutes and there is fire. I have replaced the ECM and the coil packs and the ignition module.:2cents: Last night one time when died I felt of the bottom of the module and it was very HOT to the touch so I took Ice out of my cooler and placed it under the module and it cooled off and started right up.Do you Guys know what I am dealing with,It has me scratching my head.:screwy:

When the ICM (ignition module under he coil packs) was replaced, the surface of the metal plate upon which it mounts should have been cleaned, sanded smooth or scraped, then polished to a bright finish. This surface should them have been coated with a substantial layer of silicon/zinc oxide heat sink compound to enable the ICM to shed its heat to the mounting bracket. Was that done?
The fact that you are able to chill the ICM and immediately restart leads me to believe that may have been overlooked.

The fact that you are able to chill the ICM and immediately restart leads me to believe that may have been overlooked. Either that, or the cool water flowed down to the crank position sensor and cooled it enough to come alive. Remember, both are heat sensitive! :screwy:

In fact I cleaned the mounting plate and extensivly coated with NAPA dielectric silicone.

How long has it been since you installed the new ICM? Does it still have a warranty? You can take the ICM to AutoZone for testing. Ask them to test it several times in rapid succession to help simulate a heat related failure.
Have you checked all the wiring from the CKPS to the ICM and from the ICM to the PCM? One problem area in particular, is where the wires route under the alternator. You will need to take the alt off for this inspection. In addition, be sure the ICM connector is clean, tight and making a good connection
