Subaru Legacy Can anyone identify this logo?

Hi Guys,

As I mentioned a while ago I am trying to produce the 'Elonex' sponsored car of Richard Burn's for the group tribute build,which entails me making all the decals myself.Well so far things are going great.I have finished all the artwork and scaled it to the correct size for all the main logo's and just need to produce the many red squares that adorn the car and I think the project is a real possibility.I am just missing this one logo,which brings me to my question.Can anyone identify the logo I have circled on the picture.I have trawled many books and the internet search engines but cannot come up with a decent enough picture to be able to read what it says.Do any of you have any ideas or have any better pictures?

Strangly, that logo doesn't appear in any of the hard copy photos I have of the car which leads me to believe that it's a sponsor specific to that rally.

I will power up my laptop which has all my reference materials on it and have a look to see if I can make out anything on the photos on there.

Well from what i could refine it either says exl or cxl.

Thanks Ray,I appreciate that.If it's any help it appears on the car on all 5 rounds of the 1993 British Rally Championship,but sometimes in different positions.I noticed though that it was not carried at the 1993 Network Q rally.Maybe you are right and it's specific to the British Rally Championship rounds only? Thanks for the help.

Steve i think you'll find its the OKI logo. I think they used to be part of Elonex a long time ago. Think i have some photos of it on a few Irish rally cars, I'll take a look and see.

I'm almost at the point where I can produce the decals now.All the sponsor logo's are done and nearly all the red squares of varying sizes (this seems to be taking the most time!!) I'm having slight problems with the paper though.It seems to take on a marbled appearance when it has been through the laser printer which I have never experienced before,well not with my inkjet printer anyway.I'm wondering if the paper is getting too hot? Anyway I've ordered some better quality paper and hopefully this will solve the marbling issue,fingers crossed.Once I know I can print the decals to a decent enough standard I will start a W.I.P thread.
I was hoping to model the Manx International version,but the larger tarmac wheels won't fit the arches properly at the rear (not without major surgery) So I've decided on the Vauxhall Rally version and can keep the car OOB and gravel set up.
