just to let everyone i am new to the forums. I need some help or info.
we got a ford focus for my step-daughter to drive. it was a great buy only 4,000 for a 2003 zts 4dr w/2.0 power doors roof ect.with 67,000 miles. things have been going well and then the engine light came on and found out it was bank 1 ox-sensor no other codes. well got the sensor , the engine light went off then came back on. now with no ac on it seems it is running ruff.
In the morning the car is started and can be driven ok ,when the engine gets hot or something gets hot you can put it in park and then shift into reverse and it dies. I can put it in park ,drive, and netural and it stays ok, but when placed in reverse it dies.
some of the threads say it is the pcv sensor hose leak and other are unknown.
can any one give info
many thanks

I've had the same problem with a 2004 Focus, it only stalls in reverse. I brought it to a dealership and an independent auto mechanic, neither could find a problem.
