before i installed my oil pressure and temp gauges the car would start with no probs. i used my ignition source as the power source and now nothing. i checked all the relays and fuses. it did blow the ignition fuse once but its not doing thatnow. i disconnected the guages and now nothing. you can hear the fuel pump come on nad the usual lights on the bezel. but the car wont start. it acts like a bad starter. i replaced the clutch safety switch. and orderd a crank sensor. the sensor hasnt got here yet. will having a bad crank sensor cause the car not to start? or could it be the ignition switch altogether??? help needed bad!!!

If the crank sensor isn't sensing cranking, it won't output spark, therefore not letting the car start. My guess is that if you blew the ignition fuse with all that shit hooked up to it, you probably fried the switch the second time. If I were you, I'd make sure you have everything hooked up right and maybe try disconnecting the accessories and then start the car? Just a thought.

replaced the ignition switch and clutch switch and still will not start. no wires are burned or shorting out. battery is fully charged and still cant find the prob.

Does the starter click like it isin't getting power? Make sure you check all of the fuses in the car. which fuse did you blow? What did you do to blow the fuse, the gauges should draw enough power to break it. You must have hook it up wrong or grounded something out.

it only blows the ignition fuse. the car will not even click as soon as you try to start the car it blows the fuse. only thing i can think of is that a wire is grounding out.

Yea you deffinately have a problem, get that fixed before you even start to drive the car. You must have done somethign to the wire thats grounding it.
