could you leave more info... what happens when you turn key? no start condition or the starter does not turn? starter doesnt turn check nuetral safety switch-- pcm needs to see nuetral or park b4 sending ground to starter (you mentioned grounding fuel pummp- did you try to jump starter relay?)

yes the starter turns over fine, but the asd relay was not kicking in so no fuel pump etc. i have read all the threads here as to identical problems but most ended with no answere as to what the the owner actually found and what fixed it. i finally found it at #3 pin at the pcm about 1/16 th of an inch before it enters the connector[corrosion] i had over the last week cheked it many times with my digital meter and all seemed o.k. but in desperation i finally resorted to my old analog meter and test light and found that the light would not light and the analog meter was only showing 2 volts getting through. it seems as though the digital meter put no load of any kind on the wire so it still showed battery voltage but with the test light and the analog meter it was a differen story. my problem now ,and there may be more, is how to get theclip out of the connector and replace.. any ideas sam
