My Car

Hello all, I am a newcomer, and I am happy to see there is an actualy forum for my car lol. I have a 91 olds cutlass cierra with a 3.3 V6 FWD drivetrain and 147k miles on it. It has some paint and body issues, but those are not the concern for me now.

I have had the car for almost a year now. I got it from my grandmother, and I suppose it is in good shape. I have never owned a car this old, so I am just guessing when I say "good shape" .. I thought about doing a very in-depth tune up to it, new ignition coils, (with more voltage output) new spark plug wires, new platinum plugs (or maybe copper for a colder set) All new filters, new fuel pump. Conditioning the hoses and belts, steam the engine (to clean it) Flush some seafoam or B-12 Chemtool through the vaccuum line to clean out the injectors, and flush out all the fluids and engine as well as radiator and transmission and put all new fluids in it.

What do you guys think? Good, bad?

PLEASE HELP ME, I am new to cars, but I know alot about import, nothing about GM's .... only thing is, this is my daily driver, and my current car for a while, considering I dont plan on buying a new car unilt this one is done.

Welcome to AF. You are on track, don't waste money on " hotter" coils and out of range plugs, unecessary.

Anyone else?
