Seatbelt ding

Hey guys i have a 1994 crown vic and uh i hate wearing my seat belt ( i kno i kno saves lifes) anyways i think my seat belt chime is messed up because its not the normal annoying sound it used to be but now its a really annoying sounds that gets cut off and on in second intervals and it just never goes away unless i put on my seat belt, any tips on how to disable the sound?
