I've heard mixed opinions on engine greasing, I've seen a lot of long time engine owners who swear by smothering their entire engines in grease, and i mean everything battery terminals spark plug wires you name it. They all say that it makes the engine last indefinetey. Anyone have any ideas?

Their mechanics must hate them! I can't see what the advantage would be except for corrosion on connectors and those can be greased without all the mess. It won't do anything for the internal parts which are the only expensive to fix parts due to labour involved and it would probably make a leak invisible or harder to find.....so I guess I vote no.
Sorry.....I agree with the battery terminal part.

Surely you jest. When all that grease heats up and drips down upon the exhaust manifold you would have all the makings of a first class fire. I've heard some good ones, but this one is the best. lol
