The Absolutly BEST Website to order from...

I have made a few orders from many different websites/companys. Some including Slowboyracing.com, Dsmparts.com, extrememotorsports.com, and extremepsi.com. By far the BEST site and cheapest as well is www.extremepsi.com I ordered a few things from there in the past like all the parts for my head and I've had a great experience with them.
Just recently I ordered my new turbo (Bullseye T04B 57trim) from them. I chose the free shipping option. I ordered the turbo on a monday around lunch time and tuesday around lunch the turbo was on my front porch. The install kit I bought with the turbo had some parts that wern't matching up so, I called them up and the guy there was soooo knowledgable. He explained all my questions in detail and even gave me refernces to a few websites for my install.
I just wanted to point this website out to some people who may not know about it. Anytime I call with a question (even if I'm not ordering anything) the people there will take the time to explain it to me and make sure I understand. I have never had a single problem with them and they are the cheapest site I have found to date on just about anything for your DSM.

Actually I just ordered from them for the first time yesterday. Ordered the little fuel filter adapter thing for the fuel line and it's coming in tomorrow already. That's faster than Jegs.com which I ordered from at the same time yesterday.
I also highly recommend them, www.jegs.com. Lots of stuff, fast shipping, and will take returns/exchanges no problems.

I think that applies to forum websites and spamming your own business.
Saying a vendor site is good isn't against the rules I don't think.

I have ordered a few things from extremepsi. Prices are always good and shipping is very quick. They sent me the wrong bolt once, called them up and they sent me another the next day. Great customer service.

I found either extremepsi OR maperformance.com have the best deals. I think they both have free shipping on over $99 but extreme charges a handling fee on all orders. I just bought my flywheel from MAP because it was either pay 239 with free shipping or 265 plus handling. You do the math.

yeah i agree with you, but maperformance is not an option for me because i'd have to pay sale tax. unless i have them ship it to a friends house in wisconsin.

arent we not allowed to promote other sites?
This is always sort of a touchy subject and I often find myself scratching my head on what to do. I think technically linking to any outside site is a no-no, but thats sort of rediculous. What if someone wants to know what turbo would best suit their needs for X amout of horsepower? Or what if they are looking for a 6 bolt swap tutorial? Linking to outside sources for the intent of helping someone is ok in my book. Where I draw the line is like Wil said, spamming with the sole purpose of promoting a site. This thread is a bit on the fence, but I see it as not a person trying to promote a site, but a thread to discuss experiences with different companies. For this reason, I am not going to lock it.

How did you hear about MAP? Are you from the MN area? There are a few shops in the Twin Cities area and frankly they are the only ones I would do business with. The other shops around seem to be comprised of cocky assholes and even if they were the cheapest shop around (they definately arent) I wouldnt give them a dime. Chris and the guys at MAP are definately a good group of knowledgable guys, I would do business with them in a heart beat. I'll give ya'll one good guess where my clutch is coming from in the spring :).

Nope, I'm over here in western NY.
They featured one hell of a deal on tuners for ARP head studs and that was the first thing i bought from them and the first time i heard of them. I am getting my clutch and cams from them within this month. I also found that my ACT flywheel I just got was cheapest from them. Hell, I threw in 6 new mitsu flywheel bolts and it all added up to the same price extreme wanted for the flywheel alone.

I love extremepsi... I think I was one of the first people here to start promoting them. They have mostly any product that you can think of at a good price with excellent customer service. Most of you know that majority of my motor/setup has been built with parts ordered from them... I'm actually gonna put one of their stickers on my car when its all said and done, along with a few other choice ones that are simply the best.

There will be no stickers on my car except the one denoting my affiliation with a small group of friends who are also into cars. I am taking off all the factory stickers this summer as well. I do think its a waste to not use the stickers you get with parts though, so I riced my refridgerator :). That bitch gets the best, Comp, Autometer, Megan, Fremont Skateboards, stuff from Powerhouse Boardshop and skatewarehouse.com, Apple, and oh yeah, it plays Ultimate too! :p

This is not promoting another site. Telling people of good experience from a SHOP that has a website is perfectly ok. I've had problems with this too when I was moderators on other boards (programming) where someone would recommend a site for purchases on hardware or software because they've had good experiences with them. The problem arises when someone says "this site is the best for purchasing, and their promoting their own personal site. Businesses however, are ok to post about speaking of good experiences. It's easy to get ripped off online, and everyone is always looking for the best route to go with ordering online. Yes, it is kinda "on the fence", but extreme PSI is not any of our personal sites and is a well known site that most of us already know about and/or have ordered from.
No stickers here neither. I do want the AF sticker, but if those problems with ordering are still around then no.
I miss my moderation days sometimes.

I am still sooo jealous of that car. I wish I could win the lottery, I would have one to-fucking-morrow no questions asked. It would be a black VIII MR though :). Fuck the X and mitsu VEETAC is overrated.

Oh? I just got tuned today, and with only a drop in filter, turbo back, fuel pump, and a boost controller, I'm putting down 323 to the wheels :grinyes: An 8 would need cams to get those numbers lol.
I'll post up vids and pics tomorrow.
