I have a 98 voyager and about a week ago the water pump housing had a heater house nipple that broke off due to corrosion. I have decided not to replace the house as you have to remove the front half of the engine and get into the timming belt. I have found a new nipple to replace it, but still have half of it in the housing. What would be a good way to get the other half of it out without removing the housing? I need to have this van running soon cause I have for kids and three of them are still in carseats and we won't all fit in the honda civic that we have. :runaround:

try a large easy out. or if the old nipple is pop metal you can lightly hacksaw it (don't hurt the threads and then collapse it. mike

Just to let any one know, I think I fixed it. I couldn't get the other peice of the nipple out so I got some JB weld and Fixed a new peice to the old one inside the water pump housing. It seems to be holding, but I won't find out until tomorrow because it needs to cure overnight. I hope this takes care of it. As always, thanks for the advice. This has become one of my favorite websites. :)
