3.2 w 5sp tranny. I have fixed the usual problems (ie., speed sensor, fuel pump, blower fan, etc.) Several months ago the cruise control would kick out and the speedometer was bouncing around. I replaced the speed sensor, problem solved. Recently they both started acting up again. To compound this it started hesitating and losing power on initial start and the up/shift indicator light was flashing in 5th gear. I have read all the posts regarding the MAP sensor and IM leaks. I cleaned the MAP sensor and it does not appear there are any IM leaks. I drove it today cold and it ran fine, however I did have the cruise and speedometer bounce problem. I have No CEL light on but I ran my analyzer on it anyway (no codes were found).
Update: Well I disconnected the cluster and still had the same problems with the cruise. I am checking all the grounds now, then I guess the wiring harness is next. I am also beginning to wonder if the speed sensor I put on (less than a year ago) went bad again. I have had this rodeo for 6 years, and for the most part it has been great (with a few issues), but some of those can be a pain. Ron.
