Hi I have play in the control arm bushing. Not the all rubber one. The one that has a large bolt running through it attaching to engine cradle. Is it suppossed to tighten up from the squeezing when you tighten the bolt . The bolt has threads are larger than the part that sits inside metal bushing.Should the bolt be snug there is about 1/16 inch of play. thank you for any help you can give

No bolts should ever have any play. Can you do the work yourself or do you have a mechanic? On the mechanic side, I'd check out a local business group and get a recommendation of a good one, not just from friends. Just replaced CV shafts, brakes, and greasable joints on both wheels. Does the one you're talking about press into place?
