I did this build to commemorate Ferrari's 60th anniversary and I wanted to build a classic racing Ferrari with spoked wheels. This is a 1/12 scale MG Models kit with alot of scratchbuilt detail. Some details I had to guess at due to minimal reference pics, but I like how it turned out.

Some interior detail. The tool bag? is covered with leather. I originally wanted to cover the seats, but couldnt get a big enough piece of leather thinned down. The leather grain would have probably been to large anyway.

The engine bay is detailed on the topside. Without full chassis detail, I didnt think the lower engine bay details were worth doing.

Now that this one is done, I wonder what big scale project to tackle next? That Porsche 934 looks like a good one.

Not to detailed, but the detail that is there looks awesome. I love the floor plate, it really looks like someone drove with heavy shoes. Paint, interior, engine bay are flawless.

I was already impressed in the WIP but the extra detail visible in these new images just bumped the rating to 200% on the Meisterstück-ometer :worshippy
Truly one of those builds that one will never forget having seen.

Really good looking model.
How much did you have to modify the engine parts? This really makes me want to build one of those 1/12 MGModels kits.

Ever speachless....
I knowed you were a great modeller, but you really shocked me with those machined details, with rims, with overall neat appeal.
Just congrats: you achieved something really special.

This is truly magnificent!! I had to look at the pictures several times to convince myself that it is a scale model and not the 1:1! Awesome work!! :sunglasse

Wow, i 'm drooling over the pictures as I'm writing this. This detail is staggering. The seats look extremely realistic, the engine is very like a concours-type of car, it screams realism all over the place.

Thanks for the kind comments and thanks for looking, everyone. If anyone has questions about the build, just ask.
I noticed one of the pics got repeated, when I intended posting this one:

Wow, what a beautiful car and you made a fantastic model of it. The engine is a work of art in itself and as already pointed out, the scuff marks on the floor are utterly realistic which just adds to the total beauty of this build. Top notch model.

Oh holy crap, I just noticed the scuff marks by the pedals (thanks quadzero) and that's AMAZING. Engine looks real, car looks like it's been actually driven. I am in awe.
